In support of research on oil spills, response, and restoration, the
\nNOAA Central Library published the \/Oil Spills Bibliography\/.<\/p>\n
Below please find some general information about this product:<\/p>\n
Librarians, Anna Fiolek, Linda Pikula, and Brian Voss, in collaboration
\nwith the Library Staff, developed a document entitled: \/Resources on Oil
\nSpills, Response, and Restoration: a Selected Bibliography\/. This
\ndocument, also called \/Oil Spills Bibliography\/, has been prepared as an
\naid for those seeking information concerning the Deepwater Horizon oil
\nspill disaster in the Gulf of Mexico and information on previous spills
\nand associated remedial actions. Various media products (web, video,
\nprinted and online documents) have been selected from resources
\navailable via the online NOAA Library and Information Network Catalog
\n(NOAALINC). Many of the resources included have been produced by NOAA
\noffices and programs. The content of the Bibliography includes
\ninformation sources concerned both with the harmful effects of oil and
\nchemical spills to marine habitats and their associated living marine
\nresources and with the cultural and economic impacts caused by such spills.<\/p>\n
The \/Bibliography\/ is published online as Library and Information
\nServices Division current references 2010-2 at:
