Ensuring the long term conservation and sustainable use of high seas marine biodiversity is critical for achieving the two themes of UNCSD:<\/wbr><\/span><\/a><\/div>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Tahoma;\">1.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 A\u00a0green economy in the context of sustainable development and poverty eradication and<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<blockquote><p><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Tahoma;\">2.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 the institutional framework for sustainable development.<\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<div><a href=\"http:\/\/highseasalliance.org\/\" target=\"_blank\"><span style=\"color: #000000; font-family: Tahoma;\">The High Seas Alliance\u00a0coalition comprising over 20 of the world&#8217;s leading organizations concerned with oceans is bringing global experts to the table to discuss a roadmap for ocean sustainability.\u00a0What is covered in the zero draft and what could this mean for the oceans? Why do we care about healthy oceans and what does this have to do with sustainable development?
