The events are a strong show of support for clean energy at a time when a host of new dirty fuel proposals are under consideration.<\/span><\/p>\n A complete list of events can be found here: www.handsacrossthesand.org<\/a>. <\/span><\/p>\n Across the country communities are facing threats from coastal and offshore drilling, seismic blasting, the Keystone XL pipeline, tar sands mining and transporting crude by rail, hydraulic fracturing and LNG export terminals, and mountain top removal coal mining.
